What it is

The Analytic Standard brings together established analytical best practices, empirical methods, structured analytic techniques, and relevant UK and US intelligence-analysis frameworks. HEXBIRD adapts those ideas to aviation and geospatial data, where incomplete sensor coverage, changing identities, archive limits, and shared source lineage can materially affect a conclusion.

Its purpose is to make substantial analysis more rigorous and trustworthy. In practical terms, that means keeping evidence distinct from inference, considering credible alternatives, stating uncertainty clearly, and preserving enough sourcing for important conclusions to be checked.

The Standard is not a fixed report template. It is applied proportionately: a focused answer can use it without becoming a long formal product, while a consequential investigation may require more visible structure and support.

When to use it
